OK, just so I can be a hater: I don’t at all get the interest in Pownce. 99% of the people I know use IM, email, SMS, and maybe eVite for everything that Pownce offers. This sounds like another hipster fad technology that will find a niche geek community and nothing else.
Why replace those relatively generic transports with a more specific one? Is it, like MySpace, simply easier for the public to understand?
